Southwest Autoworks FSTB- Why doesnt this fit the SE-Limited???

On the website it says the Front strut tower brace fits the SE up to 99, but not the SE-Limited. Anyone know why?
Thanks,
Dan

There is a bracket on the strut tower that gets in the way.

I was able to slip mine under the bracket, and the only thing I needed to do was replace two Acorn nuts with two regular nuts.

if there is nothing connected to that piece of metal sticking out, then removing it will cause no harm. as for my car... i had some weird rods on top of the metal bracket. i took the rods and shortened the length and relocated them somewhere else as i removed the bracket.

Is this just the Southwest Autoworks FSTB or is it all types of braces? I'm just asking because I didn't have to do anything to put mine on (Stillen) and I don't remember any brackets.

Having read the aforementioned disclaimer, I am hesitant to ask why I didn't have a bracket or have to replace any acorn nuts. I just slapped the thing on in about 15 minutes. It couldn't be that the previous owner had already removed it (He was a doctor with no interest in modding). What gives?

the disclaimer is only for arguing.. not for discussion or help..

not sure why yours was diff.. but from what i was told.. the 99 FSTB is the same as the 2k FSTB.. kinda like how the 99 Exhaust and the 2k Exhaust are the same.. 99 and 2k Supercharger kit are the same.. seems like alot of the 99 stuff works with the 2k.. not sure why your works though.. unless you have a 2k FSTB

intersting... can you elaborate on this? which components are different in the 99 that would require the use of a 2k supercharger? or is it that the 99 can work with 95-98 SC as well as 2K?

You mean the guy at Stillen actually knew what he was doing and sent me a 2K FSTB? That actually makes me feel like it was worth $160. Oh wait...no it doesn't. Thanks Sprint.
