CEL code 0603 Cylider 6 Misire, which one is number 6?

I have had a check engine light for a couple days now and was getting the 0505 code, 'No Failure Recorded/Detected'. I have reset it several times and checked the code. Finally I got a 0201 'Ignition signal circut' and 0603, 'Cylinder 6 Misfire'. I figure the logical thing to do would be to carfully check all the connections on cylinder 6 and maybe pull the plug to check it. But what cylinder is number 6?

I have been getting a flashing CEL while driving sometimes, is it safe to drive the car like this or am I risking damaging my engine?

Here's how it goes.

1-3-5
2-4-6

If you are standing at the front of your car, 6 is on the front of the motor, all the way to the right. It's under the plastic Nissan cover, all the way to the right (driver side).

I drove mine with a Cylinder 1 misfire (bad spark plug ) for a while and nothing bad happened. I didn't know it was misfiring though, if I did I would have taken it in. I advise you to take it to the dealer directly if possible.

Thanks guys.

I swapped the coil packs on cylinders 4 and 6, reset the ECU and went for a test ride. Car felt much rougher and when the CEL came on I got code 07-01 'Multiple Cylinder Misfire'. My thereoy is the coil pack is bad causing cylinder 4 to misfire, and the plug on cylinder 6 is fouled from not working so is still misfireing. Does that make sense?

I think if I replace that coil pack and the plug in cylinder 6 I should be OK, what do you think? Any other suggestions?

I have an appointment at Nissan tomorrow but I know that is going to cost me, so hopefully I can get this figured out today.

Your theory sounds pretty good. I'd just replace the coil pack in question, reset your ECU and see what happens next.
