Somtimes when I going slow, about 2000 rpm, driving about 20 mph. Then I try to floor it, sometimes it hitr red line so fast, I have to let my foot off the gas but sometimes when I do it, it goes real slow from like 2000 rpm to like 3000 rpm, then about 3200 rpm it kicks in, but it like takes awhile, I am justw aiting there like WTF. Is my transmission slipping, or what? I have a stock 1996. Can someone please help

Sometimes you catch the tranny off guard and it doesnt downshift as fast as you'd like, that's all.
