Who has the best Y-pipe?

Since NOPI kind of faded me out on the Greddy catback last weekend, I thought I'd get started on upgrading other areas of my exhaust. I read a very alarming thread on Budgetexhaust's and Warpspeed's Y-pipe.

Question I pose to the forum is who has the best y-pipe for the most gains in HP?

Is it Stillen?

The best Y pipe would be the SS pipe from Budget. All Y pipe basically produce the same HP but the exchange rate from US to Canadian make the Budget Y pipe the BEST bang for the buck! (~160 US$)

Dont go stillen. It is just too expensive for the same thing others offer.

I TOTALLY agree. The Stillen is just way too expensive for the same thing. It's just like getting the SS Budget. I have yet to buy one, but have searched this issue many times. I will be purchasing a y-pipe sometime this week.

Stillen of course!

As you can see under my sig, I keep most of my mods Stillen if possible. I don't care about Stillen being expensive, I have the extra $$ to throw around, I don't mind. To me your whole exhaust system is no different than your wheels, you keep all 4 wheels the same brand, right? That's just me.

Seriously, if you are on a budget, then Budget would be for you. Other companies have problems with the flex section.

Your thread is entertaining to say the least!! Seriously though, I think you need define for everyone what you yourself define as "best" (cost, value, worksmanship, performance, etc.) Some people care about some aspects & not others. btw, the search function is a good tool for you to learn too. Just type in your key words you want to search by.

question about Budget - F Pipe AKA Y Pipe? Price?

From the Budget Website:
1995 -1999 Nissan Maxima T-304 Stainless Steel, Mandrel Bent F-pipe $250.00

$250 Canadian translates to $160 USD? Also, the F pipe means what we normally call the Y Pipe? Help?

Thanks

What is Budget's website address? I read on Warpspeed's site that Budget's SS is not totally SS is that true? are they on back order now?
Cuz I really need to get one soon, I feel so slow without one, so if I could get it for $160 compared to $299 (wspd) then I'll go with Budget

www.budgetexhaust.com
Not sure if the entire thing is SS or not. I've emailed the guy there to see if they're available for order or if they're on backorder. I also asked what the USD conversion is. Hope this helps.
