a big problem with o2 sensor

a big problem with o2 sensor

I had light engine service soon. Check the code got respond for 02 sensor and knok sensor. Changed o2 sensor reset the computer the light came back on. Performance increases i had bad smell comming from my car after racing alittle bit everything dissapeared but light came back on the same codes. Please help me on what to do?

Both codes or just the knock sensor?

Reset your ECU and see if you get them again.

I did reset and got two codes again

Did you replace both O2 Sensors? You have two of them, a rear bank and a front bank O2 sensor. Replacing one will not do it, especially if you replaced the wrong one.

I checked my ecu it showed left front I replaced it, but the main thing is than even though i have a light on my performance increased and increased fuel economy.

A faulty knock sensor has been known to throw O2 sensor codes, and vice versus......
