BTW I thought I had a problem with my Harlan switch and emailed him in july about it.. I never heard back from him.. BUT I did not have a problem

Why not ask these people getting emails from him to forward you the address he is replying from to ensure that address and the one your mailing to are the same.

just a thought
Yeah I can try that actually, but I am using the one right off the site. I would figure this would be the one.

Are you guys using his yahoo account? Off the top of my head it was something like turbohawk85 or close to that if memory serves me right.

I got my switch Saturday. I got an email from Harlan Thursday that it was on its way. This was the FIRST email I had received from him in 2.5 months...he had ignored all my previous emails.

SUDZ, don't worry I don't think you ****ed him off. Trust me, I had a wee bit too much to drink and sent him a really antagonistic email about 3 weeks ago when I thought there was no hope of receiving my switch, and lo and behold he sent me one anyway. I think you just need to wait in line for all the other ****ed off folks to get their stuff first.

Yeah. It just stinks seeing that my VI is coming in in the next few days since Ian has recieved them now and maybe not be able toget it up and running.

Better you than me

Been there done that

(Just kidding!) I know your situation. Sucks big time to have the dang manifold and not be able to use it. You can have a little fun by just hooking the manifold butterfly control lever directly to your vacuum canister. At least you get to feel the top end gains and have a little fun with it in the meantime.

Just throw a couple temper tantrams and you'll feel better. Works for me! Seriously, good luck.

You know you can wire up the VI to activate with a simple toggle switch to the MAP baro switch, right? I did that for about 2 weeks until I figured out how to wire my Harlan shift light to be a RPM switch.

Yup. I was figuring worse comes to worse I would find the thread you wrote about it and do it that way. Not perfect but still not too bad, and I get to feel the effects.

It will work fine, and then wack out, you start blinking. After I reset it the darn thing wont work, so I think why don' t you work little rpm guy? And I check the settings for cylinders/coil per plug, and it shoots out to me 4 cyl. WTF????? So I have to reset everything once again. It may be coming loose somewhere. I'll try a different mounting place.
