To everyone in my 2nd MEVI GD

In light of Courtesy selling the MEVI's for $350 - I posted in the GD Forum on my GD that I needed answers by today about whether or not people were staying in my GD or waiting for the rumored MEVI's from Courtesy.

Very few people, who I have sent mail to also over the last 2 days, are responding.

If noone sends me mail or posts in the forum that they are in still, I will assume they are out, and they will be dropped from the GD.

If I don't have at least 50% response, I will close the GD all together.

The main problem is that my supplier is ordering the 2nd GD's parts right now, and I don't want to be stuck with a bunch of parts I can't sell because people bailed at the last minute. This could put me in thousands of dollars in debt.

So respond to this thread, the GD thread, or the E-Mails and let me know if I should continue to pursue this for the .org or not.

The GD remains open for now, until 12AM PST tonight....then we'll see what happens.

As for the 1st GD, read the 1st Gd thread for the latest update. This is already done and is moving forward.

The people I need to hear from are:
maz
Chebosto
maxxthiss
matty
carnagemaxima
Lowfunds69
z30maxima
stevedabomb

Thanks,
IanS

Respond to Ian asap. He went to bat for you guys a long time ago to get you these intakes. Don't let him hang out to dry now just because Courtesy has them for cheaper. Personally, I'd be ****ed if you were on my list and then found out you ordered from Courtesy w/o letting me know first.

I agree. It is not right to turn your backs on him after he has done so much to help you. At leat let him know if your in or out before he has to eat the cost of all this. Most of the people on the list are on here daily and should have let him know by now what their plans are.

I don't have you on my list, 97MaximaSE - I must have screwed up somewhere and accidentally removed you - shoot me an E-mail at cyberoptik@cablespeed.com, and I'll re-add you to the list.

<sorry!>

And no, I will get you a solenoid from the junkyard - you only need hose, RPM Switch, vacuum canister, and relay.

However, noone else is replying really, so I may still have to cancel the deal.

I suggest that you guys stick with Ian on this because I have a strong feeling Courtesy doesn't know WTF they're talking about and I doubt they'll get the VIMs in, especially for $350.

That is what I am seeing happening too. Then all these people will complain when it takes another few months to get the VI orders back and straigtened out.

Ian,

You already know I'm sticking with jOO.

The risk is paying $560 for something I could get for closer to 400, OR paying $400 bocks for something that is worth nothing.

So you either stick with ian and risk "losing" $160, or go with Courtesy and risk losing $400. I'd say the odds are defnitely in favor of staying.

Deal me in, bro.

Think of this, guys... If Ian gets screwed over on this then he will prolly never even dream of running the GD again. If courtesy falls through, then you will prolly never get a mevi, unless someone else busts his ***** like Ian has done. (and I doubt anyone else will do it either)

Just say so - in or out.

Ian, is there a wait list for the 2nd GD? Can you fill the confirmed "No" positions (or those who didn't respond)?

WTF, all it takes is a quick yes or no answer, some of u r just dam lazy

iansw if u have to, start throwing these guys emails out if possible so those who want in on the gd can try to contact these losers...it would suck if Scruit can't get his because these homo's want to be slow with their reaction timing...

Thanks for the support meccanoble, but let's try and not get emotional about this. I don't want this to become a flame thread.

Anyway, these are the people who have not responded:

Chebosto
carnagemaxima
z30maxima

These are the people who are still in:

Scruit
1st97SE
stevedabomb
98blackmaxwind
maxxthiss

This is a person who has contacted me, had some questions - I have responded, and am waiting on a yes/no.

Lowfunds69
Alex97SE

I have 5 - So I am going to try and continue with the GD - I am putting the order in tomorrow, so to those who have not yet responded - PLEASE DO!

<You'll still get your MEVI, Scruit>

The one problem is I am not sure of 2 things:
1) Whether my guy has gone on his 2 month vacation yet
2) Whether or not he's cancelled the order I had for 15.

If he is on vacation, and doesn't cancel it, they'll still be here in 2-4 months, but I will have 10 unsold, and be in debt to him for over $5000!

The worst part of this is those (who will remain unnamed) who decided a month ago they wouldn't be in, and never told me. I ordered for them already!

Then again, sort of my fault, as I just noticed that my thread was under the presumption of gauging interest. I should have cleared that up.

I have sent everyone 2 or 3 E-Mails.

I'm talking to my supplier over Messenger right now.

Thank GOD I got ahold of him.

OK, I have confirmed 6 orders (1 extra, which I can afford)

If anyone else is going to confirm, I need to know tonight.

You really not making a risk decision if you spend the $560. You'll run into a risk of getting it from a thief(Supia/Roadbeats).

I think Deezo meant to say that buying the MEVI from Ian was much less of a risk than those who bought from RoadBeeeeatch.

There is a risk involved wiht sending so much money overseas etc, but Ian's supplier can prove his good intentions by completing the first GD and then he earns trust for larger & larger subsequent deals.

So Ian, did the 1st GD stuff get in yet?

yes - they're waiting at the airport - But I have to work a 12-hour shift today to cover someone who has the flu - hopefully the guy won't have the flu tomorrow - and I can go pick them up.

Not at all Ian. See, your getting defensive again. That was the only problem that I had with you as a customer. I'm big on customer service and you well have got me the parts but I just disagreed with the attitude. I don't hate you though. I still respect you and a few others around here(it probably more like 20 others).

I don't know why you think I would trash talk you when your doing good for the peeps here. We ALL know who the thief is/was/allways will be and we don't have to keep bringing that f@gs name up here.

NOTE TO ALL: Ian is a trustworthy seller and don't feel you are going to be duped by him others have bought VI's from him and were very happy with the results.

I should add that people in this group deal should stick with it because there's no guarantee Courtesy know what they are talking about.

Laugh. I swear deezo - you always catch me on a bad day, or I'm just not in on the context of some of the things you say.

I just read it wrong, that's all.) I'm usually never defensive - read some of my other threads. (OK, there's one thread in the NW Forum right now where i get a bit defensive - but I have reason to)

Anyway, I don't know why it's always you I choose as a target for that. I totally forgot about the whole thing before.

Both instances were obvious misunderstandings.
