Intelliglow "needles" dyno at 23+ hp more!!!

Hey,

Lol, actually, you will receive no HP gains from this $76 upgrade, but it came in the mail yestarday, and all I can say is DAMN! Somebody is making a mint off of each set. I thought they were going to be replacement needles with custom LED's in them to give that blue effect, and it turns out that they are cheap 10 cent led's with some very thin wiring and a cheap-o dimmer. This setup could not cost more than 10 bucks to construct yourself...

Anyway, I haven't installed them yet, but as long as they give the effect that they do on the website, I'll be happy. Has anyone installed these on their Max yet, is there a write-up anywhere, pics...etc??!??

Thanks.

If I had the motivation, I would. But it would be VERY simple to doit yourself. I'll post pictures of the exact setup. All it is, is 4 blue LED's, some copper wire, (it appears), running from each LED to a dimmer switch, then two wires from the dimmer, black and red, for the power and ground. It is very simple, but like I said before, if it produces the results that I want, my $76 was put to good use!

hopefully you have a 95-96 GLE/GXE/SE or 97+ GLE/GXE....the 97+ se's have the orange needles, which in order for the blue effect to be seen, you either have to scrape off the orange crap
