Energy Suspension Shifter Bushing

I was wondering if anyone has tried to replace the crumby stock buching with the Energy Suspension shifter bushing. They don't have a single product for the Maxima on their web-site. But I know the shifter for the Maxima, NX1600/2000, Sentra, and 200SX are all the same. Stillen and Pacesetter have the same corresponding part number for all the applications. Motivational Engineering has the bushing for $9. Thought I'd swap if when I install my STS.

Side-note: I drove my friend's 350Z yesterday and I fell in love with the shifter. Short, precise, and smooth...all you 5-speeds out there know that we have nothing to boast about with our stock components. So, I'm more determined now than ever to get my car tuned the way it should be. I'm thinking aside from the shifter bushing and STS, Home-made poly filled motor mounts, shortened Koni struts, and Motivational rear mounts are going to be in my near future.

You think that would get rid of the vibration in the shifter? I can feel the engine running in mine..

The 2K3 maxes have a nice shifter....

I would hope so, seeing how our bushing is like a piece of hard plastic.

Adding stiffer and hard bushings will only transmit more vibration. I can feel a lot more vibration thru my Pacesetter shifter because of it's hard plastic bushing that connects with the shift rod. Poly-filled engine mounts will make things A LOT worse.
