does anyone know the size of the stock speakers for the doors and the back... is it 6/9" ?... these arent the bose system just basic stock.

 

6 1/2 or 6 3/4.

 

They are 6 1/2, but the thing is all 6 1/2 speakers aren't the same. The difference is where the holes are that you put the screws in. You have to make sure that they line up with the holes in the door. I bought a pair that didn't fit....i think it was polk ex series, but then i switched them with polk dx series and they fit. (front door speakers) I put polk db series in the back and they fit fine also....
My suggestion is don't buy these speakers online unless you're sure they will fit correctly.

 

Man, go to http://www.crutchfield.com type in yer car make, the trim(GXE), non-bose stereo and they'll tell u what kind of speakers will fit in yer car.

 

I thought the same thing even before i read the last reply. Crutchfield, definetly try there.
