pics of my 97-99 front and rear end conversion

hey guys here`s some pics of my front and rear end conversion, i finished it yesterday since the weather was good, anyway the best part about it was that i didnt have to paint anything except for the front lip, the front and rear bumpers were already black and in great condition didnt need to be painted thanks i999maximagirl, the grill was black, the trunk lid was black, and i had the spoiler from my old trunk, i cleared out the tailights my self. let me know what u guys think.

yeah you could say that, didnt even cost that much, i installed everything myself the only thing i paid for was the lip to be painted, oh how the color black is a wonderful color very common.

I have a 96 and at the time (2.5 years ago), I was one of the first to pioneer the front end conversion and the rear as well. Luckily, I also found a pearl white 99 trunk lid with spoiler (hehehe) and rear bumper and it matches perfectly. The front bumper and grille on the other hand I had to purchase new because the junkyard Maximas around here are all front-ended. But, for something like $800 later, after a 97-99 front bumper, 97-99 grille, 99 trunk lid with spoiler, 99 rear bumper, 97-99 front lip, and 97-99 rear body kit pieces, and paint, I CANNOT complain. The car looks like a totally different car now. I fall in love with it all over again EVERY time I clean it...

hehe very nice!

I just have the front end converted... the car was in an accident and the front was all messed up so it was a good oppertunity to get the front conversion done as well as clear bumper lenses. Too bad the headlights weren't converted =(

I kept the back the way it was because it'd look kinda different... but at the same time i hear that the safety ratings on the rear sucks for the 95/96. oh well! the only difference in the rear is that i've got the lights redded out...

anywho, nice car!!

Lookin good! I want to switch to a 97-99 trunk lid w/ spoiler and 97-99 red/clear tails, but I'm a little short on cash. I'll probably have it done by the time next summer rolls around.

thanks for all the feedback guys, and kevins question as far as the lid lined up, when i first put it on it closed perfectly except for the right side looked a litte off, mind u it closed perfectly so when i tried to get it aligned perfectly i messed it up i was there forever trying to get it to close perfectly again, i gave up it doesnt close perfectly i have to persuade it a bit i just couldnt take it anymore i should have left it alone the first time, anyway i`ll get back to it this weekend.
