2. One of my rear springs isn't sitting properly in the perch. Is that hazerdous? Can't I just jack up the car, take off the wheel and twist the spring or will it be too hard to turn?

i just drove mine around and they finally twisted and sat on their respective perches.

 

Thanks frenchie now I'm not worrying about it as much. I'll probably get to it next Sat.

You should be able to turn it without much of a problem.
