Very "Weird" Noises......

Over the past few months, I had the PR CAI, Y pipe and custom exhaust installed... For some reason for the past couple months or so, whenever it rains (kinda like tonight), I get these weird "knocking" sounds....I'm not sure if its coming from the intake, or the exhaust components....I know for sure its coming from somewhere between those 3 parts installed that I referenced above....

Has anyone had anything similar happen to their car? Any help would be appreciated...

I too noticed a strange knocking sound for the first time a few days ago. It was raining, although I'm not sure if that was coincidental or part of the problem. It did not occur with any regularity or consistency, just once or twice every few minutes or so. I have not heard it since. All I have is the Frankencar.

I had a knocking sound with my stillen exhaust. Basically one of the hangars for the muffler would tap the inside of the rear wheel-well. i solved the problem by wrapping the end in a piece of dynamat and covering it with plastic, for now. I will cut it off later but Wisconsin winters are ruthless and its too cold right now.

I have the Flowmaster Delta Series 40 muffler on there, and I think the problem started when I got the exhaust welded on....I think you may be right, but I wish I could locate the problem when I"m driving, since this only happens in the rain

I had a knocking sound before and it turned out to be that the CAI pipe was banging against the fender where you cut the hole and everytime you let off the gas, the engine moves and pushes the pipe against the fender making a knock sound.

Now, does this happen when its raining? I seem to get this sound ONLY when it rains... other than that, the car is fine.... My car isn't losing power or anything, and I highly doubt that the intake would be sucking up water... maybe the CAI isn't positioned properly?
