Passenger Side Door Light Works Again
Passenger Side Door Light Works Again
Hi All,
At first my passenger side door light wouldn't come on.
I replaced the bulb and this didn't fix it.
So I troubleshooted it with a voltmeter and test light.
The test showed that the bulb holders were getting voltage but
one side wasn't going to ground when the door opened.
I hooked up some alligator clips from the body to the
bulb connector and the light came on but wouldn't go off.
I knew then that there was a problem in the circuit board and
didn't know how to troubleshoot resistors and such.
I just replaced the circuit board with a new one and it
works like new again. The Blue 194 bulb looks nice at night.
I got the circuit board for $25 shipped from a forum member.
Thanks Jose.
Cheers!!
