I just recently bought a 98 max SE, and I was wondering what is the best modd for the money. I have an auto, which seems to be more of a hassle to mod. I saved up a $1000 for my Max, but don't know where to start with an automatic.

I already have done all the exterior mods that i wanted but no performance.

intake? exhaust? I was thinking about a Greddy exhaust, but now im not so sure. what's there to do?

You'll find

that a lot of places don't make parts of the maxima. The intake will do a good amount of low-end power, 3-8hp is what most brands claim. Get a stillen, or a jim wolf intake. Or if you've got an extra hundred lying around, get the PlaceRacing CAI. Apparently there's not much of a different though.

Intake, Y-pipe & RSB is my vote. Exhaust doesn't do a whole lot on the maxima 'cept looks.
