20 INCH RIMS!!! some one please help!!

i want to get 20's for my max. obviously this means i'm not gonna be racing it any time soon. i have it lowered 1.4 in the front and 1.3 in the back (H & R springs and KYB AGX struts). will 20's fit? or will i be having problems? how can i make them fit? thanks a lot.

Y do you want 20's...such a waste on our cars...you'll hate driving it and it will look hideous. To answer your question...they'll fit wih the right tires, but your wasting your $$$

i've seen a 4th gen max with 20's. he had eibach springs and said that there was no rubbing at all. his car looked hot as it was rolling.

He is right.. 19's look much better.I would go with 19's. 20's look better on different cars.

agreed! 19's.....personally, I think 18's are the "perfect" size for a 4th gen.

i too was in the "20s are too big" club, but now i'm in the "i30cefiro has a damn nice car" club. don't get me wrong... i've seen some silly looking cars with dubs, but when done tastefully then can look good. after all we do have wheel gaps from hell.

*bling*

as for what works, I really can't help you. there have been some recent posts about these and I'm sure if you search you can find more.

if you drop your car and throw a bodykit on it then 20's will look really good. 18's look too small on a max in my opinion. That white I30 is really tight.

on a 1.4 inch drop you wont rub at all.

anything greater than 1.7 will cause minor rub.. you can always roll the fenders in if it does rub.

but you will be 4 wheelin.

and dont listen to all the people who think 18's are as big as you should go.. they have different outlooks on modding.

18s if you want to have a little bit of performance left

19s look sweet but you have to put fat rubber around it to at least 235s

20s complete show looks good in certain applications and boodi in others

I have 19"s on the Max, thats as far as I'll go

but, 20s are cheaper, tires are cheaper, and they are easier to mount than the super low profile 19"s

Those are nice!!!
But obviously your going for show, if I got 20's I'd be going chrome. Then again chrome rims cost an arm and a leg.

those (Zeo BZ-11) cost $260 a piece, but the package is $2170 with 255/35/20 Yokohama's from wheelmax.com. i hope they'll look good. it's always hard to pick out the right wheel.
