I have a 95 gxe auto and want a 5speed. How much will it cost for all the parts to do the job? labor is free cause my brother has a shop and he said he'll hook me up if I get the parts ready.

 

You are looking at anywhere from 600-1500.

There is someone nearby me that will do the conversion on a 4th gen for 1500 for all parts and labor and including ACT.

 

Wow that's it. I thought it was like at least $2,000. Now I know what my next peroformance mod will be. Probably the cheapest way to knock up to a full second off my 1/4 time. I still have to run at the track now just to know.

 

It's really not that bad for the performance. Try and find a tranny with LSD if you can.
