this just started today, i was out driving and ended up racing an rsx. after the race i stopped to get food and when i was leaving i noticed the problem. (note: i didnt grind any gears or anything like that during the race) now, everytime i put the clutch all the way down and shift, it is incredibly hard to get into gear and the trans makes a strange noise. (this is on every gear, including reverse) I found then when i let the clutch off about an inch and half i had no problem getting into gear. it drives very smoothly as long as i dont put the clutch in all the way. It is the stock clutch with about 88K miles on it. Any ideas, anybody know what i might have damaged and how i can fix it? Its a 97 5 speed with no trans mods.

 

I'd say it's time for a new clutch...
