how do i take off my a-pillar??

i know the instructions (on maximadriver.com) say to just pry it out with a screwdriver and it'll come off, but i'm scared to death of breaking off part of it. i can't get it to come off at any part by just prying. anyone have an easy technique for getting off the driver's side a-pillar? or have a very ideal place to try to pry it out at?? thanks...

Its very easy to take out. It is held in by those socket plugs or whatever you want to call them. Just get a big flathead screwdriver wrap it with a t-shirt or something and pry it off. The more leverage you have the easier it will pop off. The a-pillar is pretty tough and hard to break.

hehe, i got it out already. i popped off one of the much smaller prongs holding it in (the plastic ones) but it came off. nonetheless, i drilled out where the thing broke off so that i could run the wiring, etc through. i figure it'll hold in just the fine with the other parts intact. thanks for the help though guys!!
