Does anyone have 225/55/16 tires on the stock 16in. rims? If so what do you think?

I do....

I'm also running Toyo's on them. it runs pretty good, except for the wheel noise.

I do too, Dunlop SP5000s. Go for it, you'll feel a huge difference. I got no noise at all, very satisfied. Plus the tires are all-season.

what about 225/50/16? how do those look, people have told me that there is too much of a gap between body and tire making it look odd, what do u think..does the 50 make that much of a difference

Not really, I mean u still have this gap. They only way to get rid of it is drop your car 1.5 inches with new springs.

I just ordered the 225/55/16 because the guy at Tire Rack said just as you say, there will be too much wheel gap. I want a good ride so im not lowering it at all. Do you think these are much taller, and how do they look-Thanks

No, they won't be taller, they have the same height as stock tires, but they will be wider which is good. I have exactly the same size and I like the way it looks.
What tires did u order?
