APEXi S-AFC Installed - Pics

I finally got around to installing the APEXi S-AFC this week. I was first installing it into the pop-out pocket and I had it installed to flip up when the pocket came out, but I couldn't get the epoxy to hold the spring loaded hinge against the back part of the faceplate. So I turned to the alternate installation. I think this works out better because it gives the interior a higher bling bling factor........I will be going to the DYNO shortly to get it fully tuned.

You should get some spare aluminum to fill in the two gaps to the side of the AFC. That would look really good.

Are you boosted or what? Whyd you get an AFC?

Well, there are NO gaps in my install. Those black gaps are actually filled in with black plexiglass. What I did was install the S-AFC in the center of the pocket, then I cut out a piece of plexiglass to the exact dimensions of the S-AFC. Then I painted the BACK of the plexiglass black. So, when I installed everything, the front part of the plexiglass is clean and glossy, without the showing of paint over-spray or scratches......

Little off topic now, but whered you get your dash kit? How come it doesnt cover the console area near your shifter?

It is the Joshua Tree kit....

It doesn't have the shifter piece because when I bought the kit, I had an automatic.....which it isn't anymore...

Coolness!

Also you never said why you have the AFC? Are you boosted? Have you tuned it yet? What kind of gains are you going to/have you seen from it.

Nice, thats the only thing I dont like with the aftermarket gauges and what not. I like them to be hidden or at least not very obvious. Yours looks good though.
