Need personal opinions on new front bumper!

Hey,

I am replacing the front bumper because its pretty beat up, and there are some paint chips...etc. I was going to just purchase a new 1996 bumper, but I'm thinking that I may want a change.

I have a 1996 SE with fog lights. I am interested in getting everyone's personal opinions on a new bumper. I was thinking about a 97 conversion, or possibly a Skyline..etc. It's up in the air right now, i'm not leaning towards anything, so all opinions are welcome. Thanks in advance for the responses.

I think that the 97-99 style bumper looks much better than the 95-6 style.

don't buy a skyline or sarona bumper if you don't have the sides and rear for a kit. it would look way weird. I think even the stillen lip by itself looks so-so, but an aggressive front bumper without the rest of the kit would be ugly.

I'd go for the 97+ bumper.

I think in the spring I might go with a 97+ bumper swap too. It looks much better I think.

if you're willing to wait til around Christmas time, I am in the process of creating a more subtle yet aggressive skyline front bumper... look around for my threads in the classifieds...
