GLE --> which parts are leather/vinyl ?
My black leather has become really hard, so after some research here and the BMW forums, I went ahead got some Lexol cleaner and the coloplus surflex soffener, and some vinylex.
I know the front parts of the seat are leather, and the back are vinyl, I also see patches of vinyl in the back seat.
What's the armrest in the back seat made of, and how about the door inserts, what about the steering wheel and automatic shift stick cover?
Oh yeah, viylex is really good, leaves a clean non glossy/greasy finish. Unlike armorall/turtle2001 that makes the viyl too shiny/greasy.

96 Maxima brochure says leather "seating" surface. meaning on seats, anything that could normally touche our body is leather and the rest is vinyl. The same to the headrest. Its front is leather and its back is vinyl. Armrest and door inserts I think are all vinyl. Steering wheel and shifter are leather as brochure says.
The same as my Lexus and Infiniti. I could hand feel the slight difference between the two. Leather is slightly more slippery.
