yup, but that 194 will be the sidemarker light. 1156 for the blinker on the front. Hyperwhite if you like or a yellow bulb for the clear corners.....

don't go with 80 watts.. you increase your chances of melting the bulb connector

1156 or 1157
I thought the front blinker was 1157?

Does anyone have a definitive answer?

The blinkers should be amber #1156

I have Eurolites in mine here is my setup

Headlights #9004 80/100W and no harness and I have had them for over 5 months and no problems at all,the harness is up to you.

Side Marker Lights/Clearance:Lights #1157 and rewired also

Clear Front Bumper Lenses #194

Vision Fog Lights #H3 100W

Eurolite Clear Euro Side Markers #194 custom mounted in side rear bumper just like the Y2K Maximas wired into my license plate lights for park lights only and I get mine from here

yep, the harness should help prevent the connectors from melting.

it's a risk.. if you look around, you'll probably see one post on melted connectors every 10-14 days.

What happens if the connectors melt?
Do the bulbs just blow out or does the problem actually affect the car's ability to put out light.

For instance, lets say i put in 9004s and the connectors melted. Can i just put back in the stock bulbs or another pair of 9004s or do i have to take the car in to get serviced?

thanks

your whole wiring for your headlights will be blown which will mean you cannot use your headlihgts at all until you get them rewired....maybe the bulbs will just blow which in this case your wire will not be hurt the bulb will be the weak link in the wiring, just like a fuse in car audio or anything eles is designed to blow if something occurs....at home if you put in a bulb and it blows you just put in another one if this one blows it is either the bulb wattage or the wiring in the socket......it is safer for money purposes to get the wiring harness because if you fry your lighting system you will not have headlights at all,I don't have the harness so I'm taking a chance and have not had any problems at all... so it is still up to you.....

Where can i get the wiring harness?
I think its best i do that...but where can i get one?

Also this might be a stupid question but on a Maxima, are there 2 separate bulbs for high and low beams? So in turn would i need 2 pairs of 9004s?

-thanks

APC sells the harness',Maxima #9004's are dual filament so high beams and low beams are in one bulb just one pair will be fine
http://www.4APC.net

I don't know where else you can get them this is their site so they can tell you a dealer you can order them from or they might sell to you........
