Attn: Daniel B. Martin!

I'm buying new seats with "universal" adapters. It seems I won't be able to use the stock holes with the new seats. Is it wise to drill new holes into the floor of the car? If I do this, how will I secure the other end of the bolts? with nuts underneath the car? Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

Daniel B. Martin has not been on the BBS for some time now. He left for unspecified reasons. In fact, I often wondered if he really was some other BBS member in disguise!

As for your seats, are these aftermarket racing seats? I would suggest using custom brackets to attach it to the stock rail if possible. Drilling holes in the body of the car isn't a great idea. It would be a cleaner install with custom brackets that you make yourself.
