Rim question...

If you were going to buy 17" rims and did NOT choose to get a drop/lowering of the car, would it really be worth getting the new wheels over the 15" SE alloy wheels?

rims

You'll have abig gap between the top of your tire and the wheel well. Maximas are tall cars as it is with out lowering it, it'll look like a 4x4. I would get 17" 2k SE max rims chrome, or 16" GLE 2k rims, it will look nicer even if you don't lower it.

Yes, it's definitely worth it. I got my 17" rims and it completely changed the appearance of my car both from a distance and up close. There is that big wheel gap but I think it still looks good-it sort of depends on the rims you get too. However, I am getting KYB AGX with B&G's after winter cause I'm going to put my stocks steel wheels on for the winter. The rock salt eats away on alloy wheels. So when spring comes, I'll have em lookin good as new with minimal wheel gap.

They obviously wont look as good on an unlowered car but rims are always better than stock.
