thinking about buying a 99 max trans or rebuliting my trans????

i just saw a trans for $400 at a junk yard its from a 99 max with 60k on it. it will fit my max right? or would just rebluilding my trans? cause i have the bearing problem on my trans and its leaking gear oil.
or put that trans on my car and rebuild the one im taking off? (just to have a spare one around) casue in 4FAQ it said the 95-97ish have those problems. is this true?

need help fast. this is the part # to that trans i think its the same as mine RS5F50A(99max)
