Anyone Have Pictures of Drilled Rotors MOUNTED ON THE CAR???

I used search and barely found any pictures of the rotors mounted on the car.
I installed my stillen drilled rotors on my car about a month ago, as labled on the box, but I'm still not sure if I put them on backwords. They work fine but I've seen pictures of them mounted both ways.
Thanks,
Dan

If it's slotted it should be from top to bottom. I also heard that it doesn't matter (bottom to top).

Don't worry about it...
The front rotors are nondirectionally vented...

Yeah in those pics the rotors and even the caliper looks like its brand new. Did you clean the calipers somehow, or are they really just new? Mine are completely black

Thanks for the pics! Thats exactly how mine are set up. I was just worried because my friends told me it was wrong, and I saw a picture of a porshe 911 turbo mounted spinning the other direction. Oh well I guess its right.
Thanks,
Dan

are those pics of the front or back wheel. im lookin at those calipers and they are tiny as hell. If those are the front calipers, id probably think more into gettind a brake upgrade. while we are on the subject of calipers, i saw the strangest thing, i saw a RSX with what looked like were glow in the dark calipers. he was drivin by so fast i didnt get a good look, but im about 95.7456% sure they were glowin. how would i go about doin this mod.

The direction of the drilled holes in the rotors makes no difference in the performance. What is important is the venting channels on the inside of the rotors. On the Brembo blanks from Stillen, the channels run perpendicular from the edge of the rotor and mounting them on wrong wouldn't make any difference. If the channels were sloped or slanted on the inside, then direction and proper installation would be important for ventilation and cooling. I saw, mount them how you like!

Those pics were taken right after I finished the brake upgrade. Painted calipers and the Stillen kit. The car wasn't even moved yet, thats why the plating is still on the friction area of the rotor.

FYI: These brakes are awsome! Very smooth with plenty of stopping power.

Caliper notes: The 17" wheels make the stock calipers look pretty small. When the 16" 5 spokes are on, they look normal again.

What kind of pads are you using? Any reason you went with drilled not slotted?

i just bought slotted rotors. I have heard too many bad things about the Drilled ones cracking ( even the brembos). I got em mostly for style, and i needed new rotors anyways

The pads are Axis Metal Masters. The whole kit came from Stillen and I paid 425 for it. It included Brembo X-drilled and plated rotors and pads on all 4 corners. How could you go wrong.

FAMEMAX - The cracking of x-drilled rotors was found in severe use conditions such as auto crossing. (Extreme heat conditions) For every day use and the occasional high speed sprinted driving I do, the cross drilled will be just fine. They look great too.

i agree.. i don't think we need cross drilled or slotted rotors for street use, but they sure do look good..
