idle problem

My car when it is parked it idle at 900-1100k. However, when I put it in drive it goes down to 700. This doesn’t happen because of the cold start. It even happens when the car is already warmed. Is there a way to solve this problem?

You can try the idle adjustment screw to lower it a bit.

I've had a similar problem for a while. At random, the car might decide to idle at about 1500 RPM ( in Neutral) as if it was cold - but the engine is already at operating temperature! It also idles higher in Drive as well, and I can definetly feel it pushing against the brakes when I'm stopped in drive. Lately though, it has been idling normally again - but over this past summer this used to happen a few times a week.

Somebody thought it might be the throttle position sensor, I haven't checked out mine yet.

If you find anything, please let me know!
