Should I just polish them or go with something like gunmetal......

Car is Ruby Pearl.

These suckers are light for a stock wheel.

I bet most people are thinking "what the heck is an FD3 wheel."

Anyhow, are you going to be using them for a track wheel or everyday wheel? I think gunmetal on ruby pearl would look pretty cool.

3rd gen RX7 wheels........16x8 16lbs a piece.

Neal............ They will be my daily drivers (summer weather). I think gunmetal would look sweet too. Think I'll see how much paint is (I work corrosion control in the Air Force so I'll paint them myself) If its not too expensive I might just have it done.

Edit......

Of the wheels? I can take some when I get home. The finish is screwed on all of them. My friend was starting to polish them....he got tired of messing with them.

Sx7r has pics on his site......his are polished i believe.

Hopefully he wont mind me linking to his pic!

They look much better in person. I think I'll go gunmetal tho.
I wanted to stay with 16's and wanted a fairly light wheel. Don't have the cash for the expensive ones. These are 16 pounds each....almost 5 pounds lighter than my stock ones.... Plus they are and inch and a half wider.

How are you going to polish them on your own? Do you use a certain kit to get it done or something? I hear of people polishing parts on their car but never knew how.

Polished Rims

Wow those look nice...
Were those sent out to a shop or polished by hand?
If the latter, any details on how to achieve those results?
