has anyone changed the color of the green ring around the ignition?

when you open the door, the light around the ignition comes on and i was wondering if you can change that green light? has anyone seen or done this before? i assume since you can change just about every other green light in the car, you can do this. right now, i have this blue theme going on in my interior. it's almost ricey but i like it and it's easy on the eyes. i did custom cut outs of this blue transparency folder and put them in the light housings. anyways, anyone have any insight?

please no flames, i'm not looking to see what some of you think of this if you don't like it...i am just wondering if it's possible or difficult. thanx

You can change the LED wherever they are used in the car. If you find a spot you want to change look it up on search and im sure there is a writeup.

I plan to do this in a couple of weeks during winter break, but have never done anything like this, I hate electrical work.......I'm a mechanical man..........can you tell me what type of solder and gun to use and basically what I should know in addition to the window LED write-up??
