dumb question

where are the coils? Hell, I can't even find the spark plugs. I'm not an idiot, but I just can't figure out where they're at.

the spark plugs are under the valve cover .. Sprintmax has a great writeup on how to change them

coils are under the valve cover for the front, and you can probably see the packs in the back, under where your strut bar is/would go....they are black things with 2 philips head screws on em...but dont use a philips head to take em off, youll only end up stripping them ...use a socket wrench, then use sprints guide for the rest

The spark plugs on the rear of the engine are more difficult due to some of the stuff that's in the way. Requires unbolting a few things to get in there, but it's simple. Use something magnetic too!

the reason I ask is I'm getting a code p1320 which is the coils right? I was hoping there'd be a plug or something that might be loose. the ses light stays on. sometimes it starts flashing for a while.
it really doesn't run bad when cold, but once it's warmed up you can really feel the miss when taking off.

Lets be a little specific before he takes off something bad:

the SPARK PLUG COVER is the plastic piece that goes over your plugs and says Nissan 3000.

The valve cover is a big hunk of metal that takes LOTS of bolts and is a pain to come off.
