You can drop it anywhere from 1" to 2" depending on what you want. Dropping it real low will compromise ride quality(potholes will feel like earthquakes) but it will handle much better and be firm. I say go with KYB AGX struts and H&R springs. That will drop your car about 1.4" and will handle like a dream.

i perfer 1"5... cuz 2" is 2 low... u'll probably scratch ur car, and 1" looks 2 closely to stock and 2 high... so 1"5 is good =)

check this out https://maxima.org/shoptalk/sub_whee...os/index.shtml .... also, if you get KYB's their warranty is voided if you drop your car lower than 1.5 inches and they have ways to tell

what kinda wheels are you putting on/have if you plan on getting 19s + you might not wanna go as low with the drop, personally I would go with sprints if you are using 17 or 18 inch wheels, it looks perfect imo

i agree on the sprints(1.8 inch drop) - but when it comes to ride quality - i'd go with H&R (1.4front/1.3rear)

H&R or Eibachs is a safe drop with a full kit. Intrax or Sprint looks sweet with a full kit but is a lil risky over big bumps and steep driveways.

Personally I would say go with KYB AGX with Intrax. Thats what I currently have on my maxima. I am a person that can't stand a ruff ride at all. I was ready to take the suspension out the same day I got it becuase the ride was a little to stiff for me and the Intrax are suppose to be the smoothest springs out there. But then I took the advice of org members who told me to adjust the KYB's before I take the whole thing out and now my ride is almost factory with a 1.75 inch drop at all 4 corners. And I am sitting on 17" 2002 Maxima SE rims. If you want a good drop and maintain a great ride I would say the Intrax if you are looking for an extreme drop or H&R if you're looking for a minimal drop, but remember your ride comfort will mostly be judged on the shocks/struts your purchase and with that you can't get better than KYB AGX.

My H&Rs sit lower in the front than my Intrax did, but the Intrax were slammed in the back compared to the H&Rs. I love my H&Rs and the drop is more than 1.4F/1.3R. It's more like 1.6" in the front and 1.7" in the back according to my measurements. This is on a 5 speed with no stereo in the trunk.

Well thats strange. My intrax sit the opposite. I mean I guess since its my car I can see that the front sits slightly a little lower than the back and I have 2 12" subs in the back. But I bought the springs used with about 10000 miles on them so the person who had them before me must had them settle in good for them.

Mike.

Very true about the shocks/struts being the largest determining factor of ride comfort, but Koni Yellow sports totally OWN KYB AGX.

I had Koni Yellows on my 2000 Si, and they are incredible shocks and were my favorite mod on my Si, the adjustability is great and they should last the life of the vehicle.

I just installed Springs/KYB AGX's over the weekend and love them. I set the KYB's to 2 front 4 rear and its not that bouncy. I didn't measure the drop, but its pretty low. I cut one coil of the back springs cause my Max is a 5 speed.
