is there anything that could happen if you made the auto to manual conversion with your car?

If you don't swap in the 5 spd ecu, you will have cel's.... Other than that, do the swap correctly...

Do you think a conversion will ruin the resale value?? I'm considering the swap as soon as my autotragic dies. I'm pretty sure my Max is gonna be with me till the end so I guess I really dont care about resale. Does my existing ECU harness go right onto a 5-speed ECU?? Or do i have to get all fancy w/ the wire splicing and stuff??

no you do NOT need the 5speed ecu harness your automatic harness fits 5spd ecu perfect. You only need the 5spd ecu itself to take care of the CEL and make it run perfect.

full instructions on my website www.hlh0501.com
