Place Racing vs. WarpSpeed CAI

I was wondering which Cold Air intake is bette the Place Racing or the Warpspeed? I know that the WarpSpeed is cheaper but I wanted to know the difference in performance.

different name

i think the filters they use *might* be different too..

personally i'd save my money and get the Warpspeed.. if i was looking for a CAI that is..

they are the same thing piping wise - the only difference is that place racing uses a monster flow filter while the warpspeed uses a K&N (i like warpspeed better)

i would also like to add that the place racing has a better "finish" overall than the WSP, but if you just want performance - wsp is the way to go

Then you installed it wrong. Rain does absolutely nothing to the car with a properly installed CAI. Driving thru a 2 foot puddle w/o a bypass valve may, but not just rain.

Yes you do have to "drill" out a hole for both. Use the search function and make up your own mind about the second question. There are two main opposing view regarding CAI vs Hybrid/HAI/Pop. The views and results differ widely, thereby lending a lot of room for interpretation.
