Rear tail light? for people with 95/96

Has anyone darkened the amber part of the tail light to make it look red, instead of buying clears, does this work?

Yes it works. Check the FAQ for directions to cover the amber with red vinyl tape. I painted mine using Testor's translucent candy apple red paint. It's a perfect match.
