I am new to the world of modifying and would like to know what would help the handling and cornering abilities of my 1996 Infiniti i30. The car just leans too much. If anyone has made mods on their infiniti prices for the upgrade would also be appreciated.

most everything, besides cosmetic mods are the same between the maxima and i30. check out the FAQ. or should i say, FAQ YOU!!!

 

Get a FSTB first then RSB. If you have enuf $ get Cattman coilovers! I've felt the most difference with those and the FSTB

 

I've wanted Cattman Coilovers since day one but the price was steep so I went with a Eibach/Koni setup. Do you have any idea how much BETTER your ride performs vs. my setup? Just wanna know if I should just sell my stuff and get coilovers since I just have enough now.

 

i enjoy my setup right now, actually kicks much ***. I fear no corners anymore. The only thing i dislike about them is the max drop. Oh Well ill still be out there hitting that turn @ 40! SEE YA

Also i dont think the coilovers are on the market right now cause when i bought mine he said that he was changing things up. They might be ready now but who knows!

I enjoy my Cattman coilovers very much because of the fact that Its so easy to change the ride height and also the ride quality. You can adust the front 4 ways and the rear 8 ways. So you can play around with it till you feel its perfect. I used to have the Eibach/Koni set up and when I changed to the Cattman's, WOW! what a difference. In my opinion though, the price is pretty steep but we're kinda limited with tthe choices of full coilover/adjustable strut set ups...Cattman Is pretty much the only choice actually.

 

Well, I guess I'm going with Cattmans...maybe I'll wait for the 2nd Generation ones Brian Cattman was talking about a week ago.

Has anyone heard or thought about trying to fit I30 tails on the max?

 

Were the head lights a direct bold on replacement or did you have to mess with it a little bit??? BTW what bulb does it use H3???? or does it still use 9004's?
