putting a vq30 or vq35 in another car?

currently drive a mid 13 second fiero and a 97 max gle - starting to get a little lifter noise in the fiero (needs adjustment) and was thinking, would a vq30 fit? looks like it could? i think the vq would be a great powerplant for a fiero, revability, torque, RELIABILITY, and consistent power throughout the rev range... the fiero is a low end torque monster, but kinda lacks on the freeway, etc... anyone know if a vq has been successfully transferred to another car? might be able to get ahold of a 80k mile engine w/ computer stuff, engine, 5spd, etc - from my friend's wrecked 97SE - plus, it'd be nice to ditch that iron block six the fiero comes with... any thoughts?

I'm thinkin ditch the iron block fiero 6 for an LS1... if they can shoehorn a 350 in there im sure a vq 30 would fit.
