Aerogear makes a carbon fiber hood for 4th gen

I was just on Nopi and and found out that they have a Carbon Fiber hood listed for 4th gen Maxima. It says it's made by Aerogear. I didn't know they made one for us. I did a search and didn't see anyhting about it so I figured I would let everyone know. Here's the link http://www.nopionline.com/index.cfm?...Front&vaffid=0

I think I'm going to give them a call this week to see if they really have them in stock or not.

I notice you guys are talking about carbonfiber hoods, and found another maker. The website is

Fiberimage.com

I was checking out the site and they have a picture of the royal blue max that looks tight.

I also found another comany that makes the hoods.

Fiberimages.com

They have a nice royal blue looking max with it on. I believe they make it in yellow, blue, red, and black carbon fibers for our cars.

Members didn't like their customer service. Their were also fitment issues. CF was cracking. Welcome to the scene!

Doesn't the I30 use the same hood as the Max?

Amaxim98

The fitments with the fiberworks, or Aerogears hood?

It's not listed on their main website. It could be an error on NOPI's part. It wouldn't be the first time NOPI listed something that's not available.

100 dollars sounds a lot for shipping. How much did it cost for the fiberimages to be shipped?

$100 freight shipping is reasonable. Nothing beats a 18 wheeler pulling up infront of your house It will be about $20 cheaper to a commercial address.

UPDATE!!!!!!

I got this from Aerogear.

*********************************************
Tony,

Thank you for your interest in Aerogear products. The carbon fiber hood for the 99 maxima is currently under development. We have not yet released it so if there are any pictures of a carbon fiber hood on a maxima im pretty sure it is not our product. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me here.
