Body Kit Debate!

Ok soon I’ll be getting the rest of a body kit lip pieces and since I do not have lowering springs on my car I’m not worried about scraping the kit so it won’t matter if it is fiberglass or polyurethane.

My two choices I have decided are between the:

Ionic Dynamic
Side Skirts and Two-Piece Rear Valance(made of fiberglass).
http://www.ionicdynamics.com/files/9..._two_piece.jpg

Or the

Stillen
Side Skirts and Two-Piece Rear Valance(made of polyurethane).

I already have the Stillen Front Lip made of polyurethane. So I was going to complete the Stillen kit so I will have the full kit but since I have a Mitsubishi Galant GTZ spoiler the spoiler is kind of squared off and it will “match” off well on my rear w/the Ionic Dynamics kit.

Ok Guys/Girls tell me what you think I should get to “help” complete my body kit.

Thank You.

i'm not really a big fan of the ionic side skirts. I'd go with the rest of the Stillen kit if I were you

actually, look in the group deal forum. I believe that there is a deal going on for just the side skirts and rear. But if that's over, just get the whole kit and sell the lip. You might be able to sell the lip for more than you paid for yours if you get lucky

metallic97gxe, i really like your spoiler you said it was off a galant gtz, did you have to do any molding or modifications to the spoiler to get it to fit just right, how high is it off your trunk, does it have a led light in it, and how do you guys think it you look on my car(my web page)?

P.S. i would go with the stillen

I did not have to anby mods to get it to fit but I had to kind of make it fit since it is not made for the Maxima...
this pic will give you an idea of how high it is of of my trunk...

It looks like the bodykit helps take visually hide some of the wheel gap with 17's.

even though having a body kit on a stock height maxima looks insanly weird, my vote would be for the Stillen kit.

Before you get a body kit you have to lower that thing. The stock height is terrible.

The latest Corolla S's look very tall and awkward sometimes with their body kits.

I can imagine how decent it could look if it is lowered. But this is William's choice not to lower it. He's been lowered one before if I remember correctly.

The stillen kit is the way to go. The ionic kit is too squared in my opinion.

The group deal on the side and the rear stillen skirts ends after Christmas, let me know.

I've had a lot of people comment me on my side skirts. They think it actually looks really good on the max. Plus they fit perfectly on the car too

kinda OT, but is it me, or does the 95-96 stillen front lip look a lot better than a 97-99 front lip? I like how its smooth, and without a lot of intricate grooves and stuff, unlike the 97-99 lip, and it matches the rest of the kit also.

I remember people saying the opposite, that the 97-99 front lip looks better, so maybe I'm just weird.

No, it's not in your head. IMO I also think the 95-96 front lip looks nicer than the 97+. Either that or it looks just as good. It goes well with a 95-96 front end, and looks very modest.

The 95/96 lips grow on you. The 97-99's have always looked meaner though, and better IMO.

I'd say get which ever you get a better deal on. Both kits fit good and both are nice looking. I'd like to see the ionic in person though.

I'll make this easy for ya. Buy the whole Stillen kit, it looks hot and sell me the lip from the kit.

The ionic sides look almost if not just as good as the Stillen's when seen in person.

Also, I agree its just you're opinion that the 97-99 Stillen front lip looks better. I guess if you like the aggressive look, it looks better. But if you want simple lines and curves, then the 95-96 matches up better overall. The 95-96 front lip is more complementary, while the 97-99 changes the personality of the front end.
