Help me please!!!!

I was installing my aluminum guage bezel the other day and the online instructions i had said not to be afraid to use force on the plastic face. I guess i used too much and my clumsy hands cracked the damn thing! So i was thinking that i could take a mini - torch and heat it back together with minimal scaring. Do you think this is possible. If not can you help with other ideas or tell me where to buy a new one at a cheap price? It cracked in the lower right corner joint.

ps i am talking about the black outside face not the clear plastic.

Does it really look that bad when you put it back in place? I cracked my A pillar and once reinstalled you cant even see the crack. Up close it looks like a scratch.

As for a new pice try ebay, local junk yards, ask in the for sale forum here, umm, lots of auto parts online places in the links section.

check the 4th gen for sale section for a guy named yuri. He sold me gauges w/o the part you are talking about, so it it likely that he still has the part that you need.

What "plastic face" are you talking about? Are you talking about the black plastic bezel that encases every gauge? If you need one, just go to a junkyard in your area. They could give it to you for cheap....

I think he means the black outer piece that holds the cruise control, dimmer switches and covers up the gauge cluster.

try some junk yards..
