How hard is it to install an auto **** with OD

I am a total clutz when it comes to this stuff. My g/f bought me this awesome looking carbon fiber **** and I am pretty intimidated by installing it. I found some directions online and they talk about sautering wires and stuff. I am a total beginner with this, do you think i could handle it? If not where could i get it installed and how much are they gonna rip me off for?

Piece of cake. There is a wire for the OD switch, just splice it onto the new shifter.

You don't need soldering.
Just use butt-connectors it's available at Radio Shack.
