Brembo Slots question!!!!!

Brembo Slots question!!!!!

I just got some Brembo slots for my front and i was wondering which side does the slots have to face going from in to out should the slots face forward or backward????
and does it matter???

Dont really think it matters, but I think they look more agressive facing front. Check the rotors for L & R stamps.

Thanks for the reply, Your the only one who had the courtesy to do so, um, ok i will leave them on, my braking is excellent so i don't think i have anything to worry about and no stamps

I've got decency....just didn't see the thread...I believe that the slots should be facing the back...reason being that when driving...the excess dust should be going out the back. I hope that helps...but I truly believe thats the reason.

PS...Tom check out the new ride...u like? eh?

check out brembo's site, they have instructions. And yes, it matters which way they face.

UPDATE!!!

Guy's i just checked the website and they said that the discs should be facinf forward so that the outer edge cut hits the pad first...... Here's a link....They show it for slotted and for regular disc with directional vents.....

Copy and paste that, scroll a little down untill you see dics and rotors, then it's the last question click on it and see the FIGURES (you will have to have adobe)

Not a problem, I'm not sure if this is for every slot but it's for brembo.
