Which is the best STS ( Short Throw Shifter) Out there ?

i Have a pacesetter rite now and now quite happy with it. i have got a brand new tranny and a brand new ACT clutch. i am hoping it the shifting will get less stiffer after 600-1000 miles but my third gear still gives me trouble like i cant shift it like the 1 and 2nd gear shifts i have to struggle a bit. does anybody else has that problem ? or is the stillen shifter any better than pace setter ? because i think the stillen one doesnt only comes with the rod but the housing that goes with the shifter at least on their website they have a different picture as compare to pacesetter. does anybody know anything about it ?

I have the stillen sts howver it was on the car when i bought it so i cant answer your housing q, but i can tell you that it is an amzing difference in throw than a stock tranny. I drove my friend micahs max with the stock shifter and it seemed clumsy because id been driving on my sts for a long time. Of course you know that since you have one too

I like my b&m. It is shorter and shorter throw. It also comes with a very nice shift ****. Wouldn't go any other way.

In another thread someoe mentioned the B&M sits father forward than stock, how much father forward is it? My pacesetter is about in the middle when it is in 4th gear and almost touches the shift cutout in third gear. Will the stock shift **** fit the B&M?
