I bought mine from a local dealer. Delivery kept getting delayed, so I paid $540 total including install. I definitely suggest finding a local dealer. Even if you install it yourself, you can probably eliminate shipping & handling. They can also get you dealer pricing.

Heard Greddy exhaust and heard Pacesetters

They sound the same on both but the Pacesetters is $200 at performance tuning or http://www.ptuning.com This version is made from mild steel though and is only 2.25" diameter mendral bent, just like the Stillen Cat Back!

NEver heard a pacesetter
how much hp can be gained by either of
these i already have CAI and Ypipe
Does the pacesetter have a huge gopher
tip too? thats the only thing i dont like about the greedy besides the price,, i like the sound of the greddy though and supposedly it gives the most hp gain...
P.s. who put lurker under my name?

The pacesetters looks just like the courtesy b-pipe

Except that it will eliminate that little restrictive piece on 1997 to 1999 models, but if you have an earlier model it will bolt directly to Cat and includes a plug for the 02 sensor. If you have a 1997 or older, it will bolt right to the cat also, but now it allready has the hole for the 02 sensor. In earlier models the sensor was directly in the end part of the cat converter. The courtesy one doesn't. It has a resonator and straight through muffler with a rounded 4" tip. This tip actually looks pretty good without getting rediculous sized like the apexi or the greddy.

It's design is exactly the same as the Stillen cat back, except for the resonator. It is painted with high temp paint and shouldnt rust unless you scrape the exhaust somehow. It should give you the 5 to 8 hp range as the Stillen.

My friend has one on his 98 maxima, and it sounds pretty good, without getting to loud!

I would NOT get the GREDDY catback.

I had them for about 6 months and sold it due to the droning aroung 3K RPM range. Especially with the Y-Pipe, it will make the matter worse. Keep your stock Exhaust and get a muffler shop customize the B-Pipe. It shouldn't cost that much.
The restriction is really in the B-pipe where it is bent near the first hanger.

GREDDY does not add much power at all.
If you really have to get one, buy used one first.

I hope this helps.

Dan.
