I think I will try to make them since I doubt I can buy them. Who here has recommendations on how-to's or has tips?
Thanks.

Re: Re: Re: HOW!!!!
No he doesn't make them. I think he just bought em brand new from David L.
They're really not that hard to make. Buy 'all clears' somewhere(not sure where tho) and paint or tape the bottom half to match the inner lights. I think painting them will look better. Doing this is much cheaper and less time consuming than looking for a used pair on the org. I just got really lucky.
If it makes you feel better, when I take them off to sell the car(in about 3 years) you can have them

davidL7 tails are painted from the inside of the lense, and i think from what he says, he opens the 95-96 clear tails and spray paints the bottom lense with VANS red taillamp spray i think???
From looking at the 95-96 stock tails really closely, I think the red color actually comes from the inside of the lense and not on the outside... Of course 95-96 stock tail lenses aren't spray painted cuz its actually the color of the lense.
However, if you look closely, I think the color comes from the opposite side of the lense... the outer portion of the lense that you can touch is clear i think while opposite inner side is red... make sense??? Not sure if anyone here would agree with me, but hey, that's what I noticed....

They look great, anyone know where I can get a set of clears. I tried Nopi not to long ago but got the run around.
Any help would be appreciated. Or maybe someone would like to sell me a pair, but that's like a snow ***** chance in ... well you know.

That's some cool info in your sig.
The first is from 2001, the rest reffer to the 4th gen, and remember the VQ was just recently named on the top ten for the 9th year in a row.
Ward's Auto World, January 2001 - For the seventh year in a row, Nissan's VQ motor--which powers the new Pathfinder, Maxima/Infiniti I30 and the new Z--was named to Ward's Auto World's "Ten Best Engines of the Year" award list. The VQ is the only engine in the world to receive the award every year since the list has been compiled. In speaking of the VQ, Ward's said, "We've said it before and we'll say it again. There isn't a better V6 in automotivedom--regardless of price." Joining the VQ on the list were powerplants from Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, Honda, Toyota, Ford and GM
Automobile Magazine, September 1995 - Four Seasons Test
"The Nissan Maxima has one of the world's truly great engines….There are few cars that I will unhesitatingly recommend to someone who is looking for a new car. I put the Nissan Maxima into that category the first time I drove one. After our four-season experience, it is still in that category."
Automobile Magazine, 1995
"We were not ready for the Maxima SE. It just knocked us out. We expected refinement and maturity that come with a freshly redesigned car, but we weren't expecting greatness."
Motor Trend, February 1995
One of the technical high points of the '95 Maxima is its new V-6 engine, which is standard in all models. This new VQ powerplant is similar in configuration to the VG-series it replaces: Both are 3.0-liter 24-valve DOHC 60-degree sixes. But that's where the parallels end. The revolutionary VQ is smaller, lighter, cleaner, cheaper to build, and easier to maintain. It also makes more power and torque yet delivers better fuel economy."
