1) when ever i try to launch my car from a stop, especially in 1st (im automatic) i get a lot of wheelhop and torque steer and it gives me a bad launch, and no i dont spin my tires much at all, how can i prevent this??

2) ever since about 2 months ago when i got my y-pipe on a lot of extra smoke has been coming out of my exhuast, is this normall, will it get better when i put my apexi WS on?? if not how do i get rid of it??

1) Polyurathane motormounts for the wheel hop. Torque steer is because of the difference in length of the driveshafts, nothing you can do about that but countersteer to keep in a straight line.

2) Don't know, don't have a Y-pipe yet

I have a y-pipe and hi-flow cat & have minimal smoke. Perhaps only when the car hasn't fully warmed up yet. Do you have smoke even after you've been driving for a while?

 

Does anyone know the size of the stock rotors on a 97 max?

I have no smoke as a result of my Y pipe; as someone asked already, does the smoke come at startup, then go away?
