You just have to make sure that the installer gets it mounted so the tip isnt too close to the bumper, and centered under the cutout.

It looks ok as long as it's done right.

to get a better idea of what i'm saying, if u would kindly look where the above car's muffler tip is (sorry for posting pic, if you want me to take off, please let me know). As u can see from pic, the muffler leaves enough room for one muffler or two very close pipes...how would the above muffler look on that type of bumper?

The tip on the 2k muffler is wider than the semi-circular cutout. It must be mounted totally below it.

For the record, I encourage posting pics. It makes it easier to understand the post.

too close to the bumper? what u mean by that? u mean so its not sticking too far back? should he/she be leaving space between bumper and muffler extensions?

I think he's implying that you don't want the dual tips to be too close to the bumper so that they would rub. How far back the tips stick is up to you. I'm considering doing the same swap myself. Keep us posted.

yea, i actually read through there clee. I shouldn't be asking for how the fitment will be, instead i would like to see pictures of this setup, something none of the other threads have shown. I PMed some guys who have done this setup and hope they send me pics or atleast post here...

BTW, so i can determine how far back i want the muffler to be? through the threads some complain about the 97 bumper being so big, u can barely see the tips of the muffler...so i can push it back more so they are more visible?

Here is what mine looks like.

The pipe that connects to the B-Pipe has to be shortened and a new flange welded on, so get the guy to fit it when he does that. I found that just hanging it in the hangars allowed for a perfect fit.

Meccanoble, kindly check my cardomin page. It used to be in my sig , but apparently not anymore?! The welder has to cut and remove the flange(it will not bolt on directly) and then use a piece of piping to connnect the exhaust piping and the 2k muffler piping. I hope I did not confuse you. Oh I like the tip to extend a little out of the cut out (from the bumper), but it will also look nice if you make it flush with the bumper. Good luck.
