Thought I'd share an interesting observation I've made. In the summer I run 17 X 7 rims that simulate a carbon-fiber look and are dominately black. In the summer I used to get annoyed that my steering wheel would sometimes be off center while driving a straight line. I would check the tire pressures and always find them out of whack - then it dawned on me. The rims which were facing the sun the majority of the day would "soak" up the suns heat and transfer that into higher tire pressures for each related rim. I confirmed this by observing this over a couple of different days. So, in case anyone else experiences this now you'll have an idea what it's from.

I never thought of that. Good observation. So I guess we need some white or even better, blingin' chrome wheels to avoid uneven tire pressures Originally posted by Toolrocks
