im thinking about lowering my max.. what do you guys think would be the best springs to do this. im planning on leaving my stock struts on. Im looking for about a 2 inch drop. thanks

 

dont even think about it, any 2 inch drop will blow your struts before you know it. If you are going to drop your car , you should replace the struts to performance strut.

I've heard of people riding on eibachs and maxspeeds with stock struts
however those springs do not lower the car 2"

 

Well if you want a 2" drop you have to go with Sprint springs or some type of coilovers. I have seen the KYB AGXs for as little as $340 shipped on a group buy but that was a while ago. Otherwise you could look at the Tokico Blue's. Actually their is a guy in CT selling Sprint springs with Tokico Blues, all brand new, for $500.

I have them.. and I have stock struts.. and there is no problem.. it may ride a bit smoother if i had KYB AGX, but its really not that bad..
